English: Reporting on the 3rd Chess Camp (11 to 13 of December 2007) and the KL Chess Challenge (8 December 2007).
English: On the 8th of December, 2007, Candidate Master Collin Madhavan set a new Malaysian Simul Record when he played against 71 chess players simultaneously in Kuala Lumpur. The final results: 56 wins, 12 draws and 3 losses. Certificates were given to all participants and the feat was entered into the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR). The original number of opponents was set at 69 but the 2 additional players were allowed to play so as not to disappoint them. For more, click here. View video at YouTube

English: On the 11th of August, 2007, Candidate Master Collin Madhavan set a new Malaysian Simul Record when he played against 59 chess players simultaneously in Kuala Lumpur. After 3 and a half hours, Collin was victorious and ended the event undefeated. The final results: 56 wins, 3 draws and no losses. Certificates were given to all participants and the feat was entered into the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR).
